Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia in Sydney is seeking an entry-level media sales assistant. Based at Artarmon HQ with a hybrid option (2 days at home, 3 in the office), this full-time role offers a supportive environment to start your media sales career and grow within SBS.

You will provide general sales team support—from preparing schedules and proposals to client reports—liaise with TV and digital clients, monitor bookings and inventory, and help identify revenue opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare professional sales documents, reports and schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the sales team, from admin duties to creating sales schedules and proposals.
• Manage TV and Online sales bookings, liaise with clients and media agencies on bookings and records.
• Monitor digital inventory, develop media schedules, respond to briefs and assist with online reporting.
• Support the sales team in meetings, maintain client databases and identify revenue opportunities.
