Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Melbourne is seeking a Media and Communications Adviser to join the Corporate Affairs team. You will manage media relations, client storytelling, content and awards, supporting proactive and reactive media across the firm's practice areas.

You will translate complex legal information into clear messages, build journalist relationships, and help strengthen the firm's brand while delivering meaningful client outcomes.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline.
• At least three years' experience in media relations, communications or journalism.
• Experience preparing media releases, pitches, statements or briefing notes.
• Experience coordinating media monitoring, distribution or reporting.
• Experience preparing award submissions.
• Experience with Queensland or regional media or in regulated sectors is favourable.
• Working knowledge of content, monitoring and distribution tools.
