Job summary

Fulcrum, a global direct-to-consumer retailer, is expanding its finance team in Sydney. This role blends management accounting with FP&A and offers exposure to commercial analysis, inventory, and strategic decision support.

You will partner across finance, marketing, logistics and buying to drive cash flow, margin and COGS accuracy, using modern tools such as Dynamics 365 and Copilot to automate processes and accelerate monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Finance; CPA near completion.
• Experience in management accounting or commercial analysis in retail, FMCG, logistics or inventory-heavy environments.
• Interest or capability in FP&A, budgeting, and commercial modelling.
• Strong spreadsheet capability and ability to use AI tools to improve workflows.
• Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing and sales to manage partner commission accruals and weekly cash flow.
• Act as finance contact for major brand partners; investigate queries and regulatory reporting.
• Support FP&A and decision-making with variance analysis on costs and logistics.
• Own inventory and margin analysis, including COGS postings and cycle counts.
• Build and maintain weekly cash forecasts with the Financial Controller.
• Leverage Excel, Dynamics 365, and Copilot to automate processes and speed up reporting.
