Job summary

Brotherhood of St Laurence is seeking a dedicated Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics to lead the Kensington and Noble Park warehouses, driving operational performance while ensuring OH&S compliance and safe transport operations.

You will refine warehouse systems, oversee donations sorting and allocation, manage relationships with transport providers, and mentor site supervisors to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in warehouse, supply chain, transport or logistics.
• Experience within apparel industry and/or charitable retail is desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of warehouse and transport environment, systems, processes, equipment and plant.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques, root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervisors at Kensington and Noble Park with indirect leadership of warehouse teams.
• Input into budgetary process and actions to meet profit and expense budgets.
• Refine warehouse systems and processes for sorting and allocation of donations.
• Manage relationships with transport companies for efficient routing and transport activities.
