Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Operations Specialist to support cross-functional activities at our Melbourne station or Sydney station. The role involves managing customer inboxes, tracking shipments, and delivering weekly in-transit reports while coordinating with internal teams and transport providers.

The ideal candidate will support the PO management system, handle user requests, and help maintain service delivery targets, with after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Ability to monitor shipments, update stakeholders, and provide timely reports.
• Familiarity with purchase order processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• To manage the customers’ inbox, responding to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
• To monitor global shipments and in-transit movements daily, providing accurate updates to stakeholders.
• To provide scheduled weekly in-transit reports to the customer.
• To administer our prevailing purchase order management system, including user requests and purchase order updates.
• To collaborate with internal teams and transport providers to meet service delivery targets.
• To maintain capacity to support after-hours service desk activities and provide backup to the Control Tower when required.
