Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Operations Specialist to support cross-functional activities at our Melbourne station or Sydney station. The role involves managing customer inquiries, monitoring shipments, and delivering weekly in-transit reports.

You will administer the purchase order system and collaborate with internal teams and transport providers to meet service targets, with hybrid working options after onboarding. Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen with baseline security clearance (supported by DHL).
• Ability to drive results and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• To manage the customers’ inbox, responding to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
• To monitor global shipments and in-transit movements daily, providing accurate updates to stakeholders.
• To provide scheduled weekly in-transit reports to the customer.
• To administer our prevailing purchase order management system, including user requests and purchase order updates.
• To collaborate with internal teams and transport providers to meet service delivery targets.
• To maintain capacity to support after-hours service desk activities and provide backup to the Control Tower when required.
