Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd, on behalf of an independent Federal Government agency, seeks a Lead Cyber Security Architect in Canberra. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days onsite per week in ACT, NV1 security clearance expected.

The role focuses on developing cyber security architecture, leading risk assessments, and delivering compliant security designs for critical internal systems and external connections.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience with Australian Government governance concepts, ICT policy/standards development, and documentary frameworks.
• Extensive experience delivering and applying agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality design documents and ensure compliance with PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop cyber security architecture and detailed security design documents.
• Lead risk assessments for internal systems and assess risks from external connections.
• Ensure compliance with PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, ISO standards, and incident management disciplines.
