You will translate requirements into secure ICT solutions, develop artefacts, and lead architectural activities with autonomy in a fast-paced government environment.

The role requires strategic thinking, risk-based decision making, and mentoring of the team. A Baseline clearance and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Translate business and ICT requirements into conceptual, logical and end-to-end solution architectures.
• Develop and maintain artefacts aligned with roadmaps and architecture standards.
• Assess industry standards and emerging technologies; recommend options.
• Lead solution analysis and support executive decisions with architecture options.
• Provide technical advice and coordinate architecture activities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and negotiate practical outcomes.
• Think strategically to develop long-term plans and quality solutions.
• Promote innovation and knowledge sharing across the agency.
• Share specialist knowledge and mentor APS personnel.
