Job summary

Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to provide technical and strategic leadership across a Federal Government agency's cyber security platforms. Based in Canberra, you will design, uplift and harmonise security monitoring, identity, endpoint, cloud and secure internet access capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and uplifting cyber security architectures in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to translate architecture into implementable designs.
• Ability to challenge vendor-led proposals with practical, environment-specific options.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain enterprise security monitoring architecture (SIEM, Windows events, cloud telemetry).
• Lead architecture for Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Purview.
• Lead security architecture reviews across infrastructure, identity, endpoint, network, cloud and SaaS.
• Create high/low designs, diagrams, patterns, and architecture decision records.
• Develop target architectures and roadmaps for security platforms uplift.
• Apply ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ASD guidance to designs.
