Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Architect for a Federal Government department responsible for delivering accessible social, health and child support services. The role focuses on translating business needs into robust end-to-end architectures and aligning with government security standards.

You will design secure systems across Azure, AWS and on-prem environments, ensure governance compliance, and lead knowledge sharing to strengthen architecture

Qualifications

• Analyse complex issues within the cyber security domain.
• Knowledge and application of Australian Government cyber security governance frameworks.
• Design secure, hybrid architectures with zero trust and network segmentation.
• Ensure architecture lifecycle aligns with standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and ICT requirements into architecture artefacts.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture artefacts aligned with ART roadmaps and enterprise standards.
• Assess capability gaps and recommend secure solution options.
• Think strategically, identify interdependencies and exercise sound judgement in ambiguous environments.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing to strengthen architecture capability across the agency.
• Share knowledge and build capability across the team.
