Job summary

Altis Consulting is seeking an IT Operations Lead / Senior Systems Administrator to own core technology platforms and drive the evolution of a cloud-first environment in a hands-on role. You will support and improve Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, endpoint management, identity services, security controls, networking and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud operations or IT support; MSP experience is a plus.
• Broad hands-on experience across on-premises, cloud and SaaS technologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and continuous improvement of a cloud-first technology environment.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Intune.
• Monitor and maintain internal networks, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi and telecommunications services.
• Drive continuous improvement across IT services and operational processes.
• Monitor ticket queues and elevate tickets by severity and impact.
• Resolve complex tickets and escalations from the IT Support Analyst.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve support processes.
• Provide coverage when the IT Support Analyst is on leave.
• Assist with procuring and provisioning laptops and onboarding new starters.
• Enhance information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Contribute to cyber security operations, including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and security investigations.
• Maintain and test backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Participate in ISO 27001 compliance activities and regulatory obligations.
• Manage system patching, configuration management and lifecycle activities.
