Qualifications

• Experience managing injury liability or long-tail claims.
• Strong understanding of liability, negligence and indemnity principles.
• Analytical ability to assess information and identify issues.
• Experience working with legal representatives and external partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of injury liability claims from validation to finalisation in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Determine appropriate policy coverage, including indemnity, legal liability and quantum issues.
• Develop and implement effective claim strategies to achieve optimal customer and commercial outcomes.
• Appoint, instruct and liaise with service providers including solicitors, brokers, investigators and loss adjusters.
• Maintain reserves/estimates and monitor significant fluctuations in costs.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders while delivering high service levels throughout the claim lifecycle.
