Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking an experienced Java/API Developer to join a major enterprise transformation program in Australia. You will design, code and deliver production-grade Java applications, focusing on APIs, microservices and event-driven systems at scale.

You'll work within an Agile engineering team using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka to build modern APIs and cloud-native services. This hands-on role suits engineers who want to stay coding and not move into pure architecture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java developer with commercial experience building APIs, microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture and AWS.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable enterprise integration services.
• Work in an Agile team delivering production-grade software on cloud platforms (AWS) using Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate designs into working software.
