Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git or other VCS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, secure microservices and integration solutions.
• Apply REST API design principles and best practices.
• Translate requirements into API designs with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Ensure APIs meet security, performance, reliability, and quality standards.
• Implement API security mechanisms (authentication/authorization).
• Participate in code reviews and governance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
• Plan API changes, releases, and versioning.
• Communicate designs, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality.
