Job summary

Talent Corp in Brisbane invites an experienced Senior Java / API Developer to join a major enterprise transformation program. You will design, develop and deliver Java Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka, AWS and Kubernetes.

You'll contribute hands-on across the SDLC, participate in CI/CD, and collaborate with architects, product owners and engineering teams to raise the bar on performance and security in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and delivering Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong background in REST API development and enterprise integration.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerisation; experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices

• Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka

We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a major enterprise transformation program, developing high-volume, mission-critical integration services that support millions of customer interactions. You'll work within a collaborative Agile environment, designing and delivering modern microservices while leveraging the latest cloud and DevOps technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a complex enterprise platform using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka, alongside a highly experienced engineering team.

About the Role

As a Senior Java / API Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and delivering enterprise-grade integration services. You'll remain hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle while contributing to engineering best practices, solution design and continuous improvement initiatives.
