Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Governance Officer (Fixed Term Full-Time) to join the Sydney Metro team in Sydney. You will contribute to governance framework development, implementation and assurance activities to support improved procurement and commercial outcomes and informed decision making.

The role covers research, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement and the ongoing improvement of governance processes and documentation in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight

Qualifications

Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Experience across governance, policy, procurement and contract management environments.
Proven ability to deliver accurate reporting and support compliance activities.
Experience in developing and maintaining procurement and contract management templates and procedures.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team delivering governance framework development, implementation and assurance activities to support improved procurement and commercial business outcomes and decision making.
This role will see you perform governance framework activities including research, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement and supporting the development and continuous improvement of governance processes and documentation.
You will support governance, analysis, guidance and framework improvements in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines and the need to influence outcomes without direct authority.
