Job summary

Transport for NSW in Sydney seeks a Governance Officer on a fixed-term full-time basis until Dec 2027, with a hybrid base location in Sydney. You will help deliver governance framework development, implementation and assurance activities across procurement and contracts to improve business outcomes and decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience across governance, policy, procurement and contract management environments.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate reporting and support compliance activities.
• Experience in developing and maintaining procurement and contract management templates and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver governance framework development, implementation and assurance activities.
• Support governance activities including research, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and continuously improve governance processes and documentation.
• Support governance, analysis, guidance and framework improvements in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Influence outcomes without direct authority while meeting deadlines.
