Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst in Melbourne to join the FP&A team. You will prepare daily and weekly sales reports, consolidate P&L, and support month-end processes.

This role requires advanced Excel, strong analytics and the ability to partner with Sales, Operations and Procurement to translate data into actionable insights. Hybrid work arrangement at Freshwater Place with focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• CA or CPA qualification required.
• At least three years’ relevant experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and business partnering mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly sales reports for Foodservices and Route channels.
• Consolidate weekly Commercial P&L reporting with commentary.
• Complete month-end reconciliations, journals and profitability reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and division-wide management reporting.
• Analyze customer profitability, purchase price variance, freight and inventory.
• Partner with Commercial Finance, Sales, Operations, Procurement and site finance.
• Investigate trends and provide actionable insights.
• Contribute to ad hoc business performance analyses.
