Auto & General is seeking an FP&A Analyst in Brisbane to support the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, monitor KPIs, and partner with cross-functional finance teams to drive forecasts and the annual business plan.

The role involves improving processes and migrating reporting to Google Sheets, with a focus on accuracy and strategic insight. You will work within the Corporate Finance team, collaborating with other analysts to deliver

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in an analytical role in a comparable organization environment.
Excellent numeric and financial literacy with strong reporting capability.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and data visualisation.
Good experience with data manipulation tools (AppScript, TM1, BigQuery, SQL, Power BI).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Analyse financial data, budgets, revenue and cash flow to support reporting obligations and decision-making.
Prepare and review reports, presentations and materials for senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements.
Partner with various teams to support financial strategies and business goals.
Consolidate forecasts and annual business plans across P&L.
Collaborate with internal finance teams on accounting treatment and forecasting.
Drive process improvements and migrate reports to Google Sheets.
Enhance monthly processes such as CAPEX tracking and management reporting.
