Job summary

Solvd Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. You will support the Claims Operations team with daily payments, trust reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly client reporting, ensuring timely, accurate financial management for Insurance clients.

This fast-paced role requires precision, a commitment to deadlines, and collaboration with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and strong financial integrity.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably AP/AR.
• Experience with MS Dynamics (D365) and Excel.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end AP and AR processes for insurance client accounts.
• Process high volumes of daily payments with accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete trust account reconciliations and maintain financial records.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and post transactions in D365.
• Deliver monthly client reporting, WD2 deadlines.
• Maintain debtor levels through proactive follow-up.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance leaders on workflows.
• Support finance projects, including testing integrations with claims systems.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
