Job summary

Robert Half Australia is seeking a Finance Officer in Melbourne to own end-to-end AP and AR within a supportive team environment. The role offers career progression, stability, and a flexible work arrangement.

You will handle invoicing, payments, reconciliations and month‑end processes, with flexibility around work location and onsite parking. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' AP/AR experience, strong Excel skills, and solid stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience across end-to-end AP and AR
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong systems skills and confidence using Excel
• Experience with NetSuite is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Accounts Payable from invoice receipt to payment, including processing, coding, reconciliations and supplier management
• Manage Accounts Receivable: invoicing, allocations, collections, debtor reconciliations and customer queries
• Support month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit requirements and process improvements
