Job summary

Zurich Australia is seeking a Finance Analysis Manager to drive accurate financial reporting, robust expense insights, and forward-looking planning across the Australian arm. You will oversee end-to-end month-end close, collaborate with senior leaders, and support cost management and finance transformation initiatives.

This role emphasizes automation and digital tools, with a strong focus on partnering with business leaders to deliver actionable financial intelligence and sustainable performance

Qualifications

• CPA, CA or equivalent qualification with at least seven years post-qualification experience.
• At least five years in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting and management reporting.
• Strong accounting knowledge, with insurance industry familiarity.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and experience using SAP general ledger systems.
• Big Four experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and deliver accurate local and Group reporting across Zurich Australia entities.
• Provide expense reporting, analysis and insights that identify risks, opportunities and emerging performance trends.
• Coordinate forecasting, budgeting and annual planning activities, including allocated expense models.
• Partner with business leaders to prepare and present results, forecasts and plans that support sound decision-making.
• Track strategic initiatives, productivity measures and efficiency outcomes against agreed plans and targets.
• Improve finance processes by reducing manual activity and embedding automation, AI and digital tools where appropriate.
