Job summary

Encore APAC is seeking an Event Manager to lead on-site event operations in Australia and collaborate with venue management. You will ensure safe, timely execution of staging services, manage crew rosters, and maintain client relationships to reach revenue goals.

You will educate clients and staff on AV options, coordinate cost management, and mentor the team to deliver exceptional events while upholding Encore's values and a Great Place To Work culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in events and sales environments.
• Relevant experience in AV and event technology.
• Excellent planning, organisational, time management, and account management skills.
• Strong sales and business acumen with success in managing a high-performing venue sales team.
• Ability to foster meaningful business relationships.
• Experience rostering and cost management.
• Qualification in Hospitality or Events is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and safe running of event staging services within venues.
• Build and maintain relationships with venues and clients to ensure smooth events.
• Educate and advise clients and venue staff on AV options and crew to meet budgets.
• Maintain crew rosters and schedules.
• Inform stakeholders of issues so problems can be rectified promptly.
• Identify opportunities to increase profitable revenue in venues.
• Seek opportunities for operational improvements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to develop team capability.
