Job summary

Transport Australia delivers a high-quality national events program connecting leaders across Australia's transport sector. This is a hands-on role in planning and delivering face-to-face and hybrid events for members, partners and industry stakeholders in Sydney.

You will coordinate speakers, venues, campaigns and onsite delivery, supporting the full event lifecycle. The 12-month contract requires strong organisation, proactive communication and ability to work with senior stakeholders, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in event coordination.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with CRM, event, marketing or project management platforms.
• The ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
• Flexibility to travel interstate and work occasional evenings for events.
• Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud/Pardot, Humanitix, Asana or Canva would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of events
• Manage event logistics, timelines, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and venues
• Develop event marketing materials, EDMs, social content and promotional campaigns
• Monitor attendance, ticket sales, budgets and event performance
• Prepare event plans, running sheets, briefs, risk assessments and other event documentation
• Build strong relationships with members, sponsors, attendees and industry stakeholders
• Work closely with our Membership and broader teams to continuously improve the event experience
