Job summary

Vertali APAC Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a hands-on, enterprise-scale role in Melbourne, VIC. You will translate designs into production-ready infrastructure across Windows Server, Linux, VMware, storage and identity services, delivering secure and highly available platforms for a large environment.

The role involves working with architects, cyber security specialists and vendors to deliver impactful infrastructure initiatives, including platform upgrades,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration across 2016, 2019, 2022+ environments.
• Experience with Linux platforms (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Solid VMware vSphere administration experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and enterprise identity services.
• Knowledge of storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and deploy enterprise infrastructure solutions from approved designs.
• Deliver server, virtualization, storage, backup and identity platform implementations.
• Configure and support Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Perform upgrades, migrations and lifecycle refresh activities.
• Implement security hardening and platform optimisation initiatives.
• Design and implement highly available infrastructure platforms and failover solutions.
• Develop and enhance infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Ansible and IaC.
