Job summary

RMIT University in Melbourne invites applications for an Enterprise Architect. The role leads enterprise-level architecture across core platforms, engaging with senior stakeholders to define target architectures, roadmaps, standards and reference architectures that enable scalable services.

You will collaborate with IT Services, business units and leadership to guide platform and solution-level architecture, ensuring alignment with future needs and university strategy.

Qualifications

• Over five years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect in large organisations.
• Capable of conveying new ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Exposure to digital asset management, knowledge/document/records management, CRM, ERP, LMS, Commerce.
• Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance, and regulatory obligations.
• Highly collaborative and able to work with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards and reference architectures with stakeholders.
• Support Solution Architects by guiding platform and solution-level architecture.
• Govern and maintain the university's architectural framework including Reference Architectures, Blueprints and Technology Strategies.
• Ensure architecture aligns with future requirements and RMIT’s strategic goals.
