Job summary

People First Bank is expanding its Automation & AI team to design, build and support enterprise AI solutions. You will work with stakeholders to create secure, scalable AI agents and integrations using Copilot Studio and Power Platform, improving productivity and customer experiences.

You'll shape engineering standards, establish reusable patterns, and help grow our AI capability across the organisation in a hybrid Australia-wide environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, automation, AI engineering or a related technology discipline.
• Hands-on experience building agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform integrations.
• Experience developing AI agents or intelligent applications.
• Strong programming capability in Python, .NET/C# or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating with APIs and enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of AI governance, privacy and cyber security controls.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for learning and applying emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and supporting enterprise AI agents and intelligent applications using Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Building integrations with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, ServiceNow, APIs and other enterprise platforms.
• Developing AI-driven workflows, actions and reusable components that deliver business value.
• Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver practical AI solutions.
• Applying sound engineering practices including testing, source control, documentation and release management.
• Ensuring solutions meet governance, privacy, security and operational requirements.
• Evaluating emerging AI technologies and recommending opportunities for adoption.
• Helping establish AI engineering standards and reusable patterns across the organisation.
