Job summary

JN is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for projects based in Sydney CBD or Sutherland. You will contribute to concept and detailed electrical design and documentation, taking responsibility for your projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

Based in either Sutherland or Sydney CBD, you will deliver design calculations, liaise with junior engineers, and coordinate electrical design into MEP documentation.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working within the Building Services sector.
• Proficiency and/or knowledge of Electrical design of power, fire and smoke detection and lighting and a willingness to learn these services.
• Understanding of Dry fire systems and emergency lighting system design.
• Understanding of PV system design and communications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision.
• Produce and review designs of junior engineers in accordance with the relevant design standards and codes.
• Participate in the inclusion and coordination of the Electrical design into the MEP documentation.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
