Job summary

JN | Consulting Engineers seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead electrical building services design and documentation across diverse projects in NSW. You will manage Electrical/MEP coordination, tendering, and client engagement while guiding proposal development and resource planning.

The role requires a relevant Electrical Engineering degree and 8+ years’ Building Services experience, with proficiency in PowerCAD, AGi32 or Dialux, and compliance with FDAS and NCC standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Building Services consultancy.
• Proficiency in electrical design of power, lighting, and security systems.
• FDAS design experience per AS1670/AS2293 and NCC.
• Strong knowledge of PowerCAD and AGi32/Dialux.
• Familiar with Ausgrid/NBN connections and Australian Standards AS3000/AS3008.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of electrical building services across projects.
• Coordinate Electrical and MEP design with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead tenders and proposals.
• Prepare detailed project plans with budgets and schedules.
• Develop client relationships and drive business opportunities.
