Pacific Life is seeking a Director & Actuary to lead all pricing product design for the DCLI market. The role is on-site 4 days/week with one day remote, located in Newport Beach, CA, or relocation is provided to the candidate.

You will oversee pricing of new product rollouts, partner with Product, and ensure regulatory and governance compliance across pricing activities. Leadership and mentoring are key expectations for this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years actuarial experience, with management exposure.
• FSA designation in the Society of Actuaries.
• Ability to research and develop creative pricing solutions.
• Strong communication to present solutions to actuarial and non-actuarial partners.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Desire to lead and mentor others.

Responsabilités

• Lead pricing initiatives for DCLI Institutional products and pricing team.
• Partner with Product to price new products and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Stay current with regulatory changes impacting pricing and risk.
• Ensure pricing adheres to guidelines and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance competitiveness, profitability, and risk.
