Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Retirement Income Product Manager to join the Institutional Division. You will lead DCLI and other retirement income strategies, translate market needs into product roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap.

You’ll drive end-to-end product development, coordinate with marketing and sales for launches, conduct market research, monitor competitive landscape, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or a similar field.
• Extensive knowledge of retirement solutions and annuities in the financial services industry, with a strong preference for Defined Contribution experience.
• Demonstrated 10-12 years of experience in product development and/or product management in the retirement/insurance/annuity industry.

Responsibilities

• Define institutional lifetime income product features and necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with risk, pricing, legal, finance, sales, and operations.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment on retirement product initiatives.
• Be viewed as the retirement product expert for all stakeholders across the division.
• Drive end-to-end product implementation, including idea generation and requirements gathering.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales for successful product launches and collateral updates.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
• Monitor DCLI and retirement income competitive landscape and differentiate pacific life products.
• Identify retirement market needs from sales and partnership teams.
• Apply industry knowledge to drive product development strategies.
• Track product performance and report progress to senior leadership.
