Job summary

Sydney Water is seeking a customer-focused Development Consultant to support property developers, consultants and service providers through the development servicing process. Based in Parramatta with hybrid working, you’ll provide technical advice on out of scope applications and help customers navigate servicing requirements for new developments.

You’ll work with developers, councils and internal teams to deliver compliant, customer-focused outcomes while protecting critical water

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Engineering, Planning, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical documentation.
• Understanding of development servicing, utilities or infrastructure delivery processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assess out of scope development applications and provide timely customer advice.
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans and development documentation.
• Support developers and consultants through the servicing and connections process.
• Build strong relationships with customers, councils and internal stakeholders.
