Job summary
Westpac seeks a Product Owner, Data Platform Engineering, to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data platform capabilities. You will drive platform innovation, engineering excellence, and scalable, secure data solutions that support critical business outcomes.
You will own the data platform roadmap, lead engineering teams, and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical delivery plans, ensuring governance and reliability across the platform.
Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale data platform delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the data platform roadmap and capability strategy.
- Lead engineering teams to develop and support platforms.
- Drive cloud-based data platforms, trusted data products, analytics.
- Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans.
- Oversee governance, risk, and performance.
- Champion DevSecOps, DataOps, and automation.
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance standards.
