Job summary

Allume Energy Pty, a Melbourne-based technology company behind SolShare, is growing its central Data & Analytics team. You will join as a Data Engineer to turn real-world energy data from thousands of SolShare installations into actionable information used by installers, residents and teams across Australia and the UK.

You’ll own data for SolCentre, the service tools, and contribute to SolOS data foundations.

Qualifications

• Solid production Python and SQL skills, ideally with operational, device or time-series data.
• Experience building and running production data pipelines, including validation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL or a similar relational database – schema design, indexing and query tuning.

Responsibilities

• Be the go‑to data engineer in our product teams – starting with SolCentre and our service tools – turning needs into data features.
• Build and maintain the data pipelines and models behind the SolCentre dashboard for installers, commercial and resident views.
• Build data tools for service teams to commission new installations, spot faults and support sites in Australia and the UK.
• Help build data pipelines and models behind SolOS for forecasting and optimization of solar and batteries.
• Own data quality and set up health checks and alerts across the fleet.
