Job summary

Shell Energy Australia is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Melbourne-based Digital & Technology Solutions team. You will build and maintain data science products, develop predictive models and support analytics-driven decision making across the business.

You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts, apply DevOps practices to productionise models, monitor performance and continuously improve solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and deploying data science solutions in a commercial environment.
• Strong programming skills across end-to-end model development lifecycle.
• Experience with forecasting, analytics and ML techniques for business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain data science products supporting Shell Energy’s strategies.
• Design and implement advanced analytics and ML models for customer churn, load behaviour and energy optimisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Apply DevOps practices to operate and improve data science products.
• Monitor model performance and ensure outputs stay accurate and fit for purpose.
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
