Job summary

Hills Pet Nutrition in Sydney is seeking a Data Analyst on a 12-month contract to own the BI reporting ecosystem across Tableau and Domo. You will maintain dashboards, data flows, and pipelines, and partner with CBS data engineers on more advanced data engineering and modelling.

The role elevates ANZ reporting so stakeholders rely on trusted, actionable insights to drive commercial decisions. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 3 days in the office, with a transition to 4 fixed Mon-Thurs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst in a cross-functional, business-facing environment.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with Tableau and Domo.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; experience with Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and optimise dashboards and data flows in Tableau & Domo.
• Query and prepare data using SQL in Snowflake and BigQuery; manage data ingestion via Google Cloud Storage.
• Partner with CBS data engineers on pipeline fixes and enhancements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into reporting and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain dashboard and pipeline reliability and timely operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data quality initiatives.
