Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Australia is seeking a Digital & Analytics Specialist for a 12-month contract in Sydney. You will design ETL processes, build dashboards in Domo and Sigma, and drive data-driven improvements across supply chain analytics.

You will develop predictive analytics, train end-users on new reports, and collaborate with CS&L teams to deliver actionable insights for management. This role requires a strong data background and hands-on SQL and BI tooling experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, engineering, computer science or related.
• Experience working in databases like Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.
• Experience in SQL programming: ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate defects and validate data quality.
• Working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ability to access relational and multidimensional databases.
• Ability to develop AI tools that help with user queries or automate tasks.
• Ability to learn and work in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong decision making skills and sound judgment.
• Innovation and willingness to drive process improvement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes, create dashboards, and optimize efficiency through evaluations.
• Develop and manage ETL processes and pipelines for Colgate-Palmolive approved platforms.
• Build and maintain actionable Domo and Sigma dashboards.
• Monitor process efficiency and recommend adjustments when necessary.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance broader team proficiency with reporting tools.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with QA analysts if necessary.
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Training end-users on new reports, dashboards and AI tools.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Work with CS&L team on reporting and automating analytical needs.
