Job summary

City of Parramatta is seeking a Customer Contact Centre team member for a 35-hour week in a hybrid role in Parramatta, NSW. The position offers annual remuneration from AUD 81,327.89 plus 12% superannuation, with a permanent full-time contract and a closing date of 1 November 2026.

You will respond to customer enquiries across channels, aim to resolve the majority of contacts without escalation, and use council systems to process transactions while building strong customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer contact centre environment.
• Ability to provide information to clients and respond professionally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team to meet and improve customer and stakeholder service delivery across various channels.
• Responding to customer enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Developing appropriate knowledge, skills and attitude to service customer inquiries to the point where 80% of all contacts can be addressed to the customer’s satisfaction without requiring escalation
• Using Council specific systems to administrate transactions on behalf of internal and external customers
• Contribute to the building of successful partnerships with customers and service providers
