Job summary

StateCover is seeking a Claims Business Analyst to join the Claims team on a 12-month maximum term contract in Sydney. You will support effective management of the claims portfolio through insights, analysis and continuous improvement, partnering with claims leaders and operations to drive better outcomes for Members and injured workers.

You will use data to identify trends, monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy across the claims function,

Qualifications

• Experience as a business analyst or in reporting, claims support or operational improvement.
• Ability to use data to drive operational decisions and identify trends.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced Excel and BI tools exposure.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging risks, monitor performance and strengthen controls across claims.
• Use data to identify trends, exceptions and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with claims, QA and CI teams to monitor performance and inform decisions.
• Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and reporting requirements.
• Turn operational information into practical actions that improve performance and compliance.
