Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Assistant/Technical Analyst in Melbourne to support Loss Adjusters with claims administration and service excellence. You will play a key role in entering new claims, updating records, processing payments, and communicating with customers, brokers, and insurers to move claims toward settlement.

The role offers a bespoke hybrid working environment and access to Sedgwick University Australia to develop a broad training framework and career progression in insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous administration, insurance or customer service experience in a corporate environment.
• Well organised and good communication skills.
• Motivated to build a career in insurance.
• Open to new learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up and enter new claims into the system.
• Update the system with review notes and additional inputs.
• Process payments.
• Manage communications through calls and emails to all stakeholders including Customers, Brokers and Insurers.
• Assist with driving claims to settlement.
