Job summary

Easy Authoring is seeking a Business Analyst to lead the development, validation, and management of requirements for a future System procurement. The role focuses on current-state and future-state analysis, documentation of business processes, and and stakeholder engagement to ensure procurement readiness.

The position involves hybrid work with an in-office day per week in Canberra, an initial contract until end of June 2027 with extension possible, and an attractive hourly rate of 106.25 AUD

Qualifications

• Experience leading capability analysis and requirements elicitation.
• Experience with complex ICT, digital transformation, or systems modernisation projects.
• Ability to document business rules, processes and customer journeys.
• Experience supporting procurement and vendor evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state and future-state analysis and document business processes and rules.
• Elicit and validate requirements for future system procurement.
• Develop requirement artefacts, use cases and traceability.
• Analyse customer and staff journeys to improve service experiences.
• Define data and interoperability requirements for a composable architecture.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to gather requirements.
• Prepare analysis outputs and briefing materials for stakeholders.
• Support project managers across system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives.
