Job summary

CHU, part of the Steadfast Group, Australia’s leading strata underwriting agency, offers a hybrid work model across five locations. You will deliver expert building consultancy and conduct causation analysis for residential and commercial strata, driving client satisfaction and industry-leading outcomes.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Building and at least 5 years of related experience, with thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree / tertiary qualification in Building.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive an outstanding customer experience and deliver market leading strata building consultancy through quality technical response.
• Build consultancy comprising residential and commercial strata.
• Conduct causation investigation and analysis.
• Provide remediation advice and guidance.
• Assist with Insurance Underwriting surveys and related work.
• Identify building defects and damage and prepare reports outlining causation and loss.
• Prepare scope and validate findings for reporting.
• Deliver technical face-to-face presentations to Brokers, Strata Managers and Owners.
• Support CHU on strategic initiatives and projects across teams.
• Collaborate with other claims teams to share risk insights and guidance.
