Job summary

WorkSafe Victoria in Geelong is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join the Audit Team within the APRD. You will combine audit expertise with workers compensation claims experience to assess Agent performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Based on Wadawurrung/Geelong, the role is full-time on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2027 with hybrid work from home—three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit, risk or workers compensation regimes.
• Ability to translate audit findings into clear recommendations.
• Strong analytical judgement with data interpretation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned audits and projects within the annual audit program.
• Undertake APA, Schedule G and verification audits and make reasoned determinations.
• Analyze audit and performance data to identify trends, gaps and risks.
• Communicate audit outcomes and rationale clearly to Agents.
• Build collaborative relationships with Agents and internal teams for advice on rules and performance.
• Contribute to improvements in audit systems, processes and business rules.
