Job summary

Veracross seeks an Associate Product Manager to support the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and post-launch enhancements. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products and participate in market research, roadmap planning, and story writing.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is hybrid, with one day per week in the Gold Coast office, reporting to the Director of Product Management.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Product Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of commercial experience in a product, technology, or related environment.
• Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Solid understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• High empathy demonstrated through active listening and customer focus.
• Strong execution with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across the organisation.
• Team player able to work with all functions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Detail-oriented, well-organised, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with JIRA, Basecamp, Slack or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and development teams to define product requirements and specifications.
• Conduct market research and user interviews to gather insights and inform decisions.
• Assist in creating product roadmaps and prioritise features based on user needs and business goals.
• Support development during implementation to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Coordinate with product development teams to realise concepts, write stories and acceptance criteria, and perform UAT.
