Job summary

Veracross is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support product management across the full lifecycle—from discovery through launch and post-launch enhancements—working with cross-functional teams to deliver digital products.

This 12‑month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover) is hybrid, with one day per week in our Gold Coast office, reporting to the Director of Product Management.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Product Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of commercial experience in product/tech env.
• Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Solid understanding of software development and web technologies.
• High empathy and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong execution with multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible team-player able to partner with all functions.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to work independently.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Basecamp, Slack.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and development teams to define product requirements and specifications.
• Conduct market research and user interviews to gather insights and inform product decisions.
• Assist in creating product roadmaps and prioritise features based on user needs and business goals.
• Support the development team during implementation and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Coordinate with product development teams to realise concepts and write stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner across product teams to ensure successful platform-level feature delivery.
• Promote autonomy, transparency, and teamwork with a customer focus.
• Translate features into customer benefits and work with marketing on messaging and positioning.
• Build relationships through on-time delivery, quality, and ROI-focused improvements.
• Track results, provide insights, and recommend improvements to customer experience and efficiencies.
• Work with Sales, Support, and Customer Success to align product strategies.
