Job summary

HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, is seeking an Actuary in the Diversified Business team. You’ll lead pricing, product development and portfolio monitoring across health offerings, including overseas visitors and student cover.

You’ll develop actuarial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and present insights to stakeholders in CFO, Finance and Risk. With 5+ years’ actuarial experience and IA Australia Fellowship (or in progress), you’ll combine technical modelling with

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ actuarial experience in health or life insurance.
• Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or working towards it.
• Strong modelling and financial literacy with advanced Excel and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and product development for diversified health portfolio.
• Develop actuarial models, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Analyse portfolio performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support regulatory reporting and collaboration with external actuaries and reinsurers.
