Zusammenfassung

Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) in NSW Health is seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Facilitator to deliver Respecting the Difference and related Aboriginal safety programs across NSW Health. This role focuses on culturally safe education grounded in Aboriginal knowledges, community connection and lived experience.

The facilitator works with Aboriginal communities to reflect local protocols, develop localised content and learning experiences, and participate in evaluation

Qualifikationen

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in cultural capability, education, health, or community development, with a commitment to culturally safe practice and Aboriginal-led approaches.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering cultural safety education or community-based training, with an understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols and priorities.
• Experience contributing to content development, cultural immersion activities, or evaluation processes.

Aufgaben

• Deliver culturally safe training and support workforce capability
• Deliver Respecting the Difference and other Aboriginal cultural safety programs across NSW Health, ensuring education is culturally safe, engaging and responsive to local community contexts
• Participate in reflective practice and supervision to support personal wellbeing, manage cultural and emotional load, and strengthen facilitation practice
• Collaborate with other facilitators, coaches and the Centre of Expertise and Delivery Hub teams to support consistent, high-quality education delivery and continuous improvement
