Job summary

Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District invites applications for an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Facilitator to lead the rollout of the Respecting the Difference program and other cultural training. You will coordinate, facilitate, evaluate and report learning outcomes across NSW Health to improve service delivery with Aboriginal engagement.

Qualifications

• Vaccination requirements for Category B role.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, and/or equivalent experience in developing and delivering cultural capability and workforce development initiatives.
• Current unrestricted NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel across sites and services within the catchment, including overnight stays.
• Corroboration of Aboriginality and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Rollout of the Health Agency's Aboriginal cultural training program and other bespoke training.
• Coordinate, facilitate, evaluate and report learning outcomes for staff.
• Engage with local Aboriginal communities and diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
• Support equitable access to training and workforce development opportunities.
