Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners in Seven Hills, Sydney, seeks an experienced HVAC Technician with strong commissioning expertise in critical environments. You will commission, test and calibrate computer room air conditioning and related systems, inspect installations, and verify performance against project specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience within the HVAC+R industry.
• CRAC unit commissioning.
• Proven experience HVAC+R commissioning.
• Full Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.
• ARCtick Licence.
• Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capabilities with a methodical approach to commissioning.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with project and service teams.
• Professional presentation with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre commissioning inspections and verify contractor check sheets prior to commissioning.
• Commission equipment in line with project requirements, tender specifications and manufacturer standards.

• Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and performing to the required specifications.
• Provide technical training to clients and end users on equipment functionality and operation.
• Work closely with project, service and office teams to coordinate commissioning activities and project requirements.
• Complete commissioning documentation, reports and required service records accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety and professionalism across customer and project sites.
