Ventra Services is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our Sydney team, handling service, maintenance, fault-finding, and project support across commercial HVAC systems.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, and assist with installations while ensuring safe, efficient operation and professional site conduct.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carrying out HVAC service, maintenance, and repair works across commercial sites.
• Diagnosing faults across air conditioning and mechanical systems.
• Attending breakdowns and completing practical, efficient repairs.
• Servicing split systems, ducted systems, package units, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation systems, and associated HVAC equipment.
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• Assisting with installation and project works where required.
• Reading and interpreting basic plans, manuals, and technical information.
• Communicating clearly with supervisors, clients, builders, and other trades.
• Completing job records, service reports, and site documentation.
• Identifying defects, recommendations, and opportunities for system improvements.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean, professional site presence.
• Representing Ventra Services in a professional and reliable manner.

About the Role

As an HVAC Technician with Ventra Services, you'll be working across a mix of commercial service, maintenance, breakdown, and project-related HVAC works.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, completing repairs, supporting installations where required, and ensuring systems are operating safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being on the tools, working independently when needed, and being part of a reliable team that backs each other.

What We're Looking For

Required Licences & Experience

Ideally, you will have:

• White Card
• Experience working on commercial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and service experience
• Ability to complete job paperwork and service records accurately

Additional tickets, manufacturer training, EWP, working at heights, or other industry qualifications will be highly regarded.
